CIP at YWCA Outram Child Development Centre

Hi everyone, finally the long awaited (or rather long delayed=S) class CIP is here! Yay! :) Here is our proposed plan:

1st session (29/5 Thu): 13 of us going, 21 K1, K2 and P2/P3 children (and there'll be 2 teachers around too)

Ice- breakers (9.15-10.15am)
-Introduce names and write name tags for each other
-Assign buddies and divide into groups
-Folding newspaper game
-Blow wind blow
-Etc

Break (10.15-10.30am)

Art & Craft activity (10.30- 12)
Paint and decorate photoframes- you all will be in charge of helping cut out foam/ felt shapes for them to paste, making sure they don't paint other things, helping/ guiding them to glue the things if they can't etc ok? :P

As you have probably realised, there are quite a lot of us so may not have a lot to do but just try to help the kids if needed and make sure they have fun ok? Cos it's holidays so they should have a fun time… and the teachers won't mind if we do whatever we want I THINK…

Yupp so for for those going tmr, have fun and don't terrorise the kids and don’t teach them bad things ok! And, please bring scissors and wear a school based shirt. Thanks, see you at 8.40am at Outram Park MRT station.(the green EW line part) It's about 10 min walk to YWCA Centre:)

i was doing some math while i allowed my nose to flow at home while your are having your ever interesting econs lecture/GP lesson in school. this is week 8 of term 2. 18 weeks (10wks term1, march hols 1wk, excl this week) of the year passed. means there is (52-18= 34) weeks left. taking this 34 weeks, minusing the 9weeks of school hols in jun and sep and dec. that is 25wks. taking away the 2days each week to weekends, we have (25x5=125days) left. not counting the public hols, studybreaks before prelims and exam dates, we have effectively this 125days left in this school as a class. and to think that the one and only time mrlow told us how much time we had left was aft term1 last yr where 1/8 of our jc life passed. we have 34/104 of our jc life left. 67.30769% of it has passed (correct to 5d.p.) with this 125 days left, light would have travelled 3.24x10^15m. sound would have blasted 3.704x10^9m away.

ok enuff of these maths, gist of it: we have LITTLE TIME LEFT! and BT2 is coming. its time to add the special engines, extra nitrous, more paddles and charge on! mugging aside, june hols one day for class outing??? andy suggested sentosa which is fine. anymore suggestions?
